A modern, digital administration makes your daily life noticeably easier. With Gov.AI, we support cities and municipalities in using artificial intelligence understandably and securely, creating real value for our society.

Our Goals

Our public administration holds society together, but faces growing responsibilities. Artificial intelligence (AI) can help make these tasks faster and easier for everyone—imagine, for instance, pre-filled forms or official letters that are finally easy to understand.

In our programme, we currently focus on cities and municipalities because that is precisely where you have direct contact with local administration. Our goal: We want to empower staff in town halls to use AI safely, meaningfully, and effectively for your benefit.

Our Projects

To ensure that artificial intelligence in the town hall does not remain an abstract promise, we develop practical tools. Our objective is to support your local contacts in applying AI to serve your needs:

KommKI

To make getting started with the technology easier, we have developed KommKI. This interactive digital guide helps administrative employees find the exact practical AI solutions that truly assist them in their daily work. The project will celebrate its official launch at the Smart Country Convention 2026.

KommHack!

If the right solution does not exist yet, we simply build it. We also support cities and municipalities in doing so by solving their challenge within a structured hackathon and transferring this solution directly into live operation with the help of Komm.ONE.

Our Partners

We build a modern and citizen-centric administration best together. That is why we rely on a strong network of partners: Working hand in hand with NXTGN, Komm.ONE, the Hertie School of Governance, as well as the Association of German Cities (*Städtetag*), the Association of Towns and Municipalities (*Gemeindetag*), and the German County Association (*Landkreistag*), we are shaping the public authority of the future.

In addition, we maintain a close exchange with key public institutions across the Heilbronn region—including the Steinbeis Institute, the Fraunhofer Institutes, GovTech Germany, and the Centre for School Quality and Teacher Training (*Zentrum für Schulqualität und Lehrerbildung*).
